In so-called "democratic" countries, where the rule of law is expected to prevail, energy solutions are not simply imposed but must be accepted by the public they are meant to serve.
In the case of nuclear energy, this acceptance is closely linked to concerns such as nuclear accidents, radioactive waste (including dismantling), and the risk of weapons proliferation.
The goal of this section is not to dismiss these concerns, but to examine them carefully and objectively. A more concrete and technical analysis will be developed within each reactor’s detailed technical sheet.
